capita are red states. And 2 of the blue states (Arizona and Georgia) aren’t really blue. The only truly blue state is Rhode Island. And as you said, they got hit first, took steps to mitigate the impact of covid and have performed very well since then.

19 of the 20 lowest states for Covid cases per capita are blue states. That includes the fact that the blue states were the first ones hit.

I’m sure that distribution is pure coincidence.
